What is A.I.M.

Physical Therapy?

AIM Physical Therapy is not just ordinary physical therapy, but a unique combination approach of specialized manual therapy and traditional physical therapy based on exercise, modalities, and therapeutic activities.

A.I.M. stands for Advanced Integrated Manual which is provided at AIM Physical Therapy.  After years of training with manual therapists and european osteopaths at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, Neil Trickett, PT, and the owner of AIM, has trained his unique knowledge with his therapy staff on this method.

Advanced Integrated Manual Therapy focuses on you as a whole, not just bits and pieces.  For example, when you have back pain, it is necessary to get the complete picture on what is causing your back pain.  Your posture needs to be evaluated, the mechanics of your spine, the way your hips move, the mobility of your soft tissues and muscles, the way your walking pattern is, and much more.  Did you know that past neck and shoulder problems can contribute to back weakness and pain?  There is a lot that goes into an A.I.M. evaluation.

patients

Initially, I could not tie my shoes and I had very limited bending due to my back pain. My flexibility has improved greatly and I can now sleep through the night. I have no problems now sitting in any position. My therapists have been unbelievable in helping me in my recovery. I am truly grateful to have had them working with me. Thank you!    -R.T.

My progress has been excellent. I was told by my doctors that my spinal stenosis would continue to affect my ability to walk. Since coming to A.I.M., my pain has diminished greatly and my ability to stand straight and even walk has been amazing. I was only able to get around in my power wheelchair, but now, I can walk good distances with my walker. I can now stand for minutes instead of seconds. My overall improvement has been amazing!     -W.S.

When I first came to A.I.M. after breaking my back I was in extreme pain. Very quickly the pain started to subside. Then I was able to begin exercises to rebuild my muscles. My doctor has  been amazed at my progress.    -A.L.

Prior to therapy it was hard to walk, and almost impossible to sit because of pain in my back and legs. After nine or ten treatments the pain is gone. I have only small aches that I feel will soon disappear completely.    -R.P.

Your group made me feel like the only patient here. I had all the attention I could want from the Therapists I worked with.    -R.D.
